• Very small products

• Projects with a very short deadline

• Shortage of human or capital resources

When to design components that grow with your product?

Large or complex product: Companies with one or more large products and complex components often require designs with the same molecular structure.

Long-term goals: Sometimes it’s difficult to define the long-term goals of a company or product. Goals can change overnight because we’ll receive an unexpected injection of capital that allows us to extend the life of a project.

Predicting how it will be in five years’ time is something magic, but finding out where you want to go in one or two years’ time is easier.

If you don’t know what direction you’re sailing in, ask the people in charge how they see themselves in a year’s time. That will help you to arrange your Design System in a more optimal way.
